  6. Fold the edge of the pastry up around the pear filling, sprinkle reserved raw sugar over the edge of the pastry
  7. Place in pre-heated oven approx 170 degrees and bake for 40 mins or until pastry is golden brown.
  8. Serve!

Sprinkle the sugar spice mix over and between the pear slices. Fold the edge of the crust over the pears. Beat the egg in a small bowl, then brush over the crust.
