Today morning i sent all the ingredients to her for the competition and kept one more portion for my post too.

- Take for Katoris:
- Prepare 1 cup All purpose flour
- Prepare 1/2 cup Corn atta
- Take to taste Salt
- Get 1 tsp Ajwain
- Prepare 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- Make ready as required Warm water to make a dough
- Prepare as required Oil for deep frying
- Prepare For Filling 1:
- Take 1 small Onion
- Take 1 Capsicum

- Get 1 tsp Green chilli- finely chopped

- Take For Filling 2:
- Get 1 big Tomato
- Take 1 small Onion
- Prepare 1 Capsicum
- Get 2 tbsp Tomato sauce
- Make ready 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- Prepare 1 tsp Coriander powder
- Get 1 tbsp Fresh coriander
- Prepare to taste Salt
- Take 1 tbsp oil
It is a fusion of Mexican and Indian cuisine which uses Nachos with kidney beans sauce. It is topped with lots of cheese to make the chaat. This taste sweet, sour with a little spiciness. How to make Mexican Chaat: Refrigerate the yogurt till chilled.
Steps to make Mexican Chaat:
- For the Katoris:
- Mix all the ingredients and make soft dough using warm water.
- Make small puris.
- Grease designer moulds or katoris with little oil and place the puris on them and press properly.
- Pierce with fork.
- Heat oil in pan and put the moulds or katoris in the oil and deep fry the puris till golden.
- Remove from oil, let it cool a little and then remove the fried puris by loosening the edges.
- Filling 1:
- Finely chop onion and capsicum.
- In a pan, heat ghee and add all the ingredients except tulsi leaves and saute till veggies are soft.
- Remove from fire and add tulsi leaves and mix well.
- Let it cool.
- Filling 2:
- Finely chop onion, tomato and capsicum.
- In a pan, heat oil and add tomato and saute.
- Remove the skin of tomato.
- Add all other ingredients, mix well and saute till veggies are soft.
- How to assemble:
- Put both the prepared fillings in the cooled katoris.
- Garnish with grated cheese and the chaat is ready to serve.
- Serve with sev, masala curd, tamarind chutney (optional).
This taste sweet, sour with a little spiciness. How to make Mexican Chaat: Refrigerate the yogurt till chilled. In a large bowl take together crushed corn chips, corn kernels, potatoes, onion, tomato, jalepeno, two tablespoons of green chutney, three tablespoons of sweet tamarind chutney and salt and mix well. Pour the chilled yogurt and mix well. Mexican chaat is a fusion of Mexican with Indian taste.
