In a bowl combine the tuna and add the beaten eggs, yoghurt, seasoning, onion and grated cheese then mix well and pour into the pastry case. Sprinkle some grated cheese on the top. Mix tuna and crisps in a large bowl. Add cheese, onion and mushrooms mixing well.

- Prepare Casing
- Get 225 g plain flour
- Get 110 g butter
- Make ready 110 g cheese (I used strong cheddar)

- Make ready 2 tins tuna (145g each)
- Make ready 1 small onion - chopped very finely
- Take 2 tbsp mayonnaise

- Prepare 1/2 large red pepper, chopped
- Prepare handful chopped parsley
- Get 1 egg

- Get tin (preferably flan tin with removable base) - 25cm diameter
Mix the eggs and milk and spices together in a separate bowl. Pour mixture over the tuna, cheese and onion. Line a pie dish with the shortcrust pastry sheet. Prick the bottom of the pastry sheet with a fork, then spread with a thin layer of mustard and top with the tuna.
Instructions to make Tuna flan:
- Add the flour to a bowl. Cut the butter into small squares and add to the bowl with the flour with a pinch of salt. Mix together - either rub the butter into the flour with your fingers or you can use a food processor with the plastic blade as I did. Mix until the consistency is like breadcrumbs.
- Add the rest of the casing ingredients to the flour/butter mixture and mix well with a spoon.
- Reserve 1/2 - 1 cup's worth of the casing mixture for sprinkling onto the top of the flan later. Add the rest of the mixture into the flan dish, and press into the tin with your hands to make the flan casing.
- Mix all the filling ingredients together in a bowl, and pour into the tin.
- Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture over the top
- Bake for 35-40 minutes at 200 c. Remove from the oven and allow to cool a while before eating - can be eaten warm or cold.
Line a pie dish with the shortcrust pastry sheet. Prick the bottom of the pastry sheet with a fork, then spread with a thin layer of mustard and top with the tuna. Add salt and pepper and vinegar. Start by adding the butter to the sifted flour to form a soft dough. Transfer the dough to the tart pan and using your fingers spread/press the dough evenly.
