- Take oil in a pan. Add oil. Once the oil is hot add crushed garlic, asafoetida and turmeric.
- Add moong daal, red chilli powder and salt. No need to add extra water.
- Add dill leaves and cover the pan. Cook it on low flame for another 10 minutes. Mix it properly. Don't overcook it. It's ready to eat. Serve with Roti.
