- Get 1 bowl milk powder
- Make ready 1.5 bowl milk
- Get 1-2 tbsp ghee
- Prepare 10-12 Saffron thread

Steps to make Kesar Modak:
- Put pan on the gas. Add Milk & Milk Powder and mix it well also add sugar,saffron threads,ghee and give it a good mix and now on the flame and mix it for 20 minutes (Approx) on a medium flame till it separates from sides.
- Now put off the gas Cool it slightly then add cardamom powder. Mix it properly with your hands.
- Now put milk powder mixture in modak mould and press it. Now take it out. - If you do not have modak mould then make it with hand and give shape of modak.
- Note- Add stuffing while making modak in the mould
