  1. Take 2 cups Gram flour,
  2. Take 1/4 cup of white rice flour

  7. Get 1 camphor one (edible),
  8. Take 2 cloves

  13. Get as required Oil for deep frying

The ladoos are made with very small sized boondi that has been soaked in sugar syrup. This sugar infused boondi are formed into Ladoo (balls). Boondi ladoo - Golden, sweet and totally irresistible bites beautifully enhanced with the aromatic flavor of cardamom. Adorned with speckles of raisins, these traditional sweet balls are fun and easy to make.

Steps to make Traditional boondi laddu:
  1. First mix the gram flour and rice flour with required water salt and food colour to a batter. Check the consistency to make boondhi
  2. Then pour the boondi batter using the big spoon that has holes in it. Keep pouring the batter till it spreads around the frying pan to a tiny round balls.Make sure the balls don't stick each other. Then fry it till it's cooked soft. Remove from the oil before it turns crispy. Repeat this process for the remaining batter and keep the boondhi aside
  3. Now prepare sugar syrup using two cups of water with one cup of sugar.boil it until the syrup becomes sticky. Once done turn off the flame. Add cardamom powder and camphor to the syrup
  4. In a small frying pan add ghee fry cashew nuts then raisins and two cloves.turn off the flame. Pour this to the syrup and mix it well
  5. Now add the cooked boondhi in to this syrup and mix well. Leave it for 5_6hours. Allow the boondhi to absorb the syrup.
  6. Now mix this well with hand and crush it slightly. Then start making balls and plate it. Ready to eat
