We call it "Ishigaki-Mochi" since the sweet potates on the cake are look like "Ishigaki"(= stone wall).

Steps to make Ishigaki Mochi:
  1. Clean the sweet potatoes and slice it into little cubes. Soaked it in water. Drain and Pat dry.

  4. Since I don't have parchment paper or whatever to be used for steaming, I used the oil absorbing paper šŸ˜. I cut it into 4x4 size.
  5. Put a handful into the paper and put it in the steamer.
  6. Steam it for 20 minutes over high heat.
  7. Serve while it's hot.
