The ingredients needed to make Pear and thyme chutney:
  1. Get 600 g pears
  2. Take 200 g sugar
  3. Get 150 g white wine vinegar
  4. Make ready 100 g chopped onion
  5. Get Few sprigs of thyme

Stir in brown sugar, mustard, vinegar, water, thyme, and pepper. About half way through browning the second side, tuck the pear wedges in between the chops. Stir the red wine vinegar and honey together in a small bowl, until the honey is dissolved. Pour the vinegar/honey mixture into the skillet and bring to a vigorous boil.

Instructions to make Pear and thyme chutney:
  1. Peel, core and chop pears. Put sugar, onions and vinegar in a pan. Turn on the heat on low. As the sugar starts to melt, add the thyme leaves
  2. Add the pears. Simmer away for about 45 mins until nice and sticky with no water left. Store in a sterilised jar in the fridge for up to a month

Stir the red wine vinegar and honey together in a small bowl, until the honey is dissolved. Pour the vinegar/honey mixture into the skillet and bring to a vigorous boil. Return the garlic cloves to the skillet if you have removed them. Stir in pear, thyme, apple cider vinegar, and brown sugar. Make this fruity pear chutney early and it will be ready just in time for Christmas.
