- First remove the red and green part of watermelon, then chop it into small pieces.
- In a big pan boil the watermelon peices in 5 cups of water for 5-6 minutes or cook until the watermelon cubes turn semi transparent. After that strain it and keep it aside.
- Add 3 cup of water and 300 grms sugar in a pan and boil it, when sugar is desolved in water then add semi cooked watermelon pieces in it.
- Boil it for about 20 minutes and stir it in between or until watermelon cubes turn soft and become completely transparent. Then turn off the flame.
- Add 1 tsp vanilla extract in it and mix it well. Then divide the cooked watermelon cubes into 3 parts along with sugar syrup.
- Add few drops of red, yellow and green food colour to each part of this and mix it well and soak it for 6-7 hours.
- When it absorbs all the colours, then drain it, and spread it into a plate and dry them under sunlight or under room temperature till tutti frutti completely dries it.
- Finally, tutti frutti is ready to use yours cake, sweets and ice cream or refrigerate for later use.
