- Mix custard powder in half a cup of milk.
- In a pan heat milk & add sugar. Slowly add the custard mix & keep on stirring till it all mix & cook for a few minutes
- Make jelly as per instructions on the pack. Only don't use 500 ml water cos it never sets well. Use only 350- 400 ml.
- In the bowl or glass you want to set add custard. Let it set fr few minutes. Then add jelly let it set. Last add custard again. If the custard has become thick add little warm milk & mix.
- Lastly add cherries or strawberries & refrigerate. Serve chilled.

Remove milk mixture from heat, preferably to a burner that's turned off. Place the custard cups in a large baking pan with sides that are nearly as tall as the custard cups. Pour the hot water around the custard cups, being careful not to spill any water into the cups.
