  5. Prepare 10 Almonds for garnishing
  6. Get 2 tbsp Dry Ginger powder
  7. Get 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder

In Gujarat, it is known as Sukhdi. While it is called gur papdi in the Maharashtra. Sukhdi has soft, crumbly and melt in your mouth texture. Sukhdi is a Gujarati sweet made with gor (jaggery), ghee, and flour.

Instructions to make Ginger Sukhdi:
  1. First Grease the plate or thali when using gheeand keep aside. Heat ghee in a pan then add wheat flour
  2. Mix with spatula it will be like the thick lumpy paste. roast it with continuously the flour gets some colour and get toasted Aroma of the flour.
  3. Then add dry ginger powder, almonds powder,cardamom powder and mix well.now add jaggery. when jaggery melt then turn off the flame quickly mux it.
  4. Now pour into the greased plate when it will down slightly cut slice into desire shape and garnish it with almonds.

Sukhdi has soft, crumbly and melt in your mouth texture. Sukhdi is a Gujarati sweet made with gor (jaggery), ghee, and flour. My mami makes the BEST sukhdi ever, she even mailed me some recently and I devoured it in two days. I could legit eat the whole thali in one sitting when it's warm, so of course, I needed to give her recipe a try. To begin making the Golpapdi Recipe (Gol Papdi/ Sukhdi), melt the ghee in a frying pan and add the wheat flour and cardamom powder and ginger stirring constantly till it turns golden brown and releases the roasted aroma.
