It's a sugar-free family favorite recipe! Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer. Let simmer and thicken while cooking chicken. Whisk together water, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, sherry, ginger, rice vinegar, sesame oil, oyster sauce, sugar, cornstarch, and garlic in a bowl.

Steps to make Ginger Chicken:
  1. Clean and wash chicken. Take one Kadai. Add oil. Into it goes onions.
  2. Saute onions well till translucent. Add ginger and garlic paste. Also, add green chillies. Mix well.
  3. Now add chicken and saute. After 5 - 6 mins add haldi powder' salt and Kashmiri Red Chilli powder. Mix well.
  4. Now add yoghurt and give a good mix.
  5. Here goes tomatoes. And cover this till chicken becomes tender. Don't add water to it. Add coriander powder and garam masala. Cover and cook till chicken is soft.
  6. Add kasuri methi. And ginger pieces to it again mix and ginger chicken is ready to serve.
  7. Serve them with naans or chapati.
