Steps to make Rava Khichdi:
  1. Dry roast rava/ sooji till aromatic. Set aside. Heat oil in pan roast cashews until golden brown. Remove and keep aside.
  2. Chop vegetables and cook separately. Set aside.
  3. Heat oil in same kadai, add ginger, onion and fennel powder. Saute till translucent.
  4. Next add green chillies and tomato. Cook till mushy.
  5. Next add turmeric powder and cooked vegetables along with water.
  6. Add salt and coriander leaves.
  7. When it starts boiling, lower flame slowly add the rava stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Add ghee and serve hot.
