  1. Roughly chop the onion, tomato, and chilli.
  2. Heat oil in the pan and saute the cut onion, chili, and tomato. Add a handful of mint leaves to it and saute well. Add salt as per taste.
  3. Once the saute is done. Cool the mixture and grind it into a chutney.
  4. Temper the mustard seeds, urad dal, and curry leaves and add it to the chutney. Your delicious onion mint chutney is ready.
  5. You can use raw red chilli in place of green chilli. The taste will remain the same only colour will be dark red. Here I have used fresh green chillies.
