Instructions to make Muthiya (from bottle gourd):
  1. Grate lauki (bottle gourd).
  2. Add ginger,garlic, green chilli and coriander paste, and all flour.
  3. Now add salt,turmeric, cumin powder, curd and sugar(I didn’t add).Knead dough and make cylindrical shape..
  4. In a vessel add water and put one plate on stand with wholes as shown in pic
  5. Allow the water to boil and then put those cylinders on it and steam for 30 min till cooked with closed lid.
  6. Allow it to cool and then cut as shown(muthiya)
  7. Add 2-3 tbsp of oil in pan.Allow it to heat. Add cumins seed, hing, seasame seeds and green chillies. Then add muthiya in it and cook for few min. Serve it and enjoy.

Squeeze, and remove excess water from it. Don't remove all the water from it. Collect the water in a cup. Add grated bottle gourd, semolina, wheat flour, gram flour, chopped coriander, turmeric powder, hing powder. Make this crispy snack to relish with tea.
